Basha's farm in the village of Bombe is about 6 years old and he's already producing amazing natural processed coffees. Basha is part of a producing group that is focused on advancing the future of traceable single-producer Sidama coffees. Each season the labor intensive harvest is done by hand with around 86 seasonal daily laborers. They are carefully harvested and meticulously picked before being spread out to dry in thin layers beds and tables. It could take 15 – 21 days for specific lots to reach optimum moisture content depending on the sun access and temperature. This is determined by observing brightness of the skin and cracking sample dried cherries by teeth. It's this attention to detail that really sets this natural coffee apart. We think you'll really enjoy this sweet delight!
